What is Minnesota Sprint Factory?
Founded by Coach Marc Brown in 2018, the Minnesota Sprint Factory is a competitive track club and year-round athlete development program.
Our philosophy is simple: run farther, faster.
The Factory develops athletes who compete across the sprinting spectrum, including the 60, 100, 200, and 400 meters, while maintaining the speed, power, and athleticism needed to jump.
Why?
Because versatility creates opportunity. A well-rounded sprinter gives a school program more ways to compete and contribute.
The Factory trains athletes accordingly.
WE DON’T TRAIN ATHLETES FOR ONE RACE, ONE EVENT, OR ONE SEASON.
WE BUILD COMPLETE SPRINTERS FOR WHAT COMES NEXT.
The Factory Approach
-

Coaching For All Ages
Athletes train alongside one another while receiving coaching tailored to their age, experience, and stage of development. Every athlete is challenged appropriately while building strong fundamentals for what comes next.
-

Fundraising As A Team
Team fundraising gives athletes a chance to take ownership, contribute, and be accountable to the group. It’s one more way we work to develop responsible, well-rounded young people on and off the track.
-

Technical Form in Small Groups
Speed starts with how you move. Small group instruction gives coaches the opportunity to break down mechanics, offer individual feedback, and help athletes develop efficient habits they can carry into competition.
Our Philosophy
BUILD COMPLETE SPRINTERS.
Speed. Mechanics. Power. Endurance. Versatility.
We develop athletes beyond a single event so they are prepared to compete wherever their abilities take them.
TRAIN FOR THE NEXT LEVEL.
The Factory’s training method follows a developmental cycle inspired by collegiate track and field.
The focus changes throughout the year because athletes should not train the same way in September as they do in January.
CREATE OPPORTUNITY.
Fast times matter.
Knowing how to turn performance into opportunities matters too.
College navigation is included for The Factory's athletes, giving families an experienced guide as they consider programs, recruiting opportunities, and life after high school.
DEVELOP THE WHOLE ATHLETE.
High expectations and compassionate coaching can co-exist.
The Factory develops confidence, discipline, maturity, leadership, and relationships alongside athletic performance.
