Training Programs
The Factory uses seasonal training cycles to help athletes build foundational skills, develop speed and strength, compete, and continue progressing from one season to the next.
Ages 5 through high school graduation.
Beginners are welcome.

BUILD THE BASE.
Fall training is approximately 7-8 weeks and is primarily conducted outdoors.
Athletes begin the year by returning to fundamentals and preparing their bodies for the faster, more demanding work ahead.
Training may include:
Sprint fundamentals
Running mechanics
General athletic development
Acceleration foundations
Movement quality
Jump development
Preparation for later speed work
Frequency: Up to 4 days per week
Cost: $60 per training session
Location: Concordia University - St. Paul (281 Hamline Ave N, St Paul, MN 55104)

TURN THE FOUNDATION INTO SPEED.
As training progresses, the program becomes increasingly specific to sprint performance.
The typical winter schedule may include up to:
3 track sessions per week
2 strength/weight-room sessions per week
Beginning in January, The Factory enters its indoor competition cycle.
Athletes may compete through USATF and AAU depending on age, event, and competition schedule.
Training emphasis changes throughout the cycle and may include sprint mechanics, maximum velocity, special endurance, plyometrics, starts, jumps, and strength development.
Cost: $60 per training session

PUT IN THE WORK ON THE WORK.
Summer is Minnesota Sprint Factory’s primary club competition season.
Athletes compete through USATF and AAU with the goal of advancing through championship, competition, and Junior Olympics and Nationals.
Middle School + High School
Ages 12 through 19
Up to 4 practices per week
Season Fee: $500
Younger Athletes
Ages 5 through 11
Up to 3 practices per week
Season Fee: $350
Training is differentiated by developmental level while athletes remain part of one training culture.

Who Can Join?
You don’t have to be a state champion to train at Minnesota Sprint Factory.
You don’t have to have track experience.
The Factory welcomes athletes from age 5 through high school graduation, including beginners.
What matters most is a willingness to learn, work, and grow.
